Functional Medicine- remote

A holistic perspective that sets us apart

About

My name is Dr. Thomas Kim

My doctorate is in chiropractic and my post doc work has been dedicated to studying stress and how it affects our health and wellbeing.  I have been fortunate to help train dozens of health care providers, treat thousands of clients, and work in the field of corporate wellness, building wellness programs that integrate vertically and horizontally throughout an entire organization.

My unique skill with functional healthcare is being able to help people see things in a more zoomed out perspective and then connecting the dots.   We tend to get tunnel vision and symptom focused when we are suffering.  But the answer isn't looking at ourselves under a microscope but rather to get a broader perspective; the more you zoom out, the clearer the pathways become.  This broader view  helps you understand how your bodies' systems are connecting and how your symptoms are a by-product of complex actions your body is taking to try to keep you going.  That's right.  Your body is usually just trying to meet the demands you are placing on it.
