Omega 3 fatty acids and it's impact on mental health

It is so simple that you won't believe that this isn't common knowledge. I will get straight to the point and present the information.

Omega 3 levels in your blood is directly related to mood.

If you want to test your own blood levels of Omega 3, this is a simple pin prick test:

Impact of Omega 3 levels on our mental health:

  • higher Omega 3 index was associated with better cognitive function and decreased anxiety.

  • People with lower Omega 3 index have higher depression scores.

  • Higher Omega 3 index is associated with lower risk of depression

  • People with the highest risk of psychosis have the LOWEST Omega 3 index.

Omega 3 index and heart health

  • There are only 525,600 minutes in a year

  • 655,000 Americans die from cardiovascular disease each year. That is 1 death every 36 seconds!

  • Those who have an Omega 3 index of 8% or greater, have a 35% reduction in fatal coronary heart disease.

There are many Omega 3 supplements out there but this is my favorite.

If your levels are low, you can start with up to 8 per day or about 5000 mg/day for about 1 month and then down to 4/day and then 2/day for long term support.
